IN LESS THAN 50 WORDS:
Yes, before you say a word, the crazy rides & hikes shall prevail. Haha, yes… it was a hard though of decision, but it was made nonetheless. Took over a month to decide whether we end the run or run until the end. What better way to start off than a breakfast to catch up and explain the upcoming years :P
Lokaruchi was chosen to start of this new era. Reason being, I mean we had been on Mysore road (homeground) for 5+ years and still not visited this place. When people asked us, whether we’ve eaten at this place, we would always say no (even though we had eaten in other good places) anyway this was one good breakfast place we had to get under our list. We had not visited this place mainly due to intense crowd that comes along with the place. I mean it is famous for a reason right? Haha… Adi, Dattu & Deefu were on the confirmed list.
By the way it was Deefu’s birthday too!

ASSEMBLE & LEAVE:
Yeah I was up at 05:00, did a few push ups & sit-ups, had a cup of coffee and settled back listening to music. Yes, we were going to have breakfast, and the scheduled time was 08:00. (now don’t ask me why I would get up so early) After others arrived at my place, we decided to leave Bangalore.
TIME: 08:00
RIDE 1: (Bangalore – Bidadi – Lokaruchi)
Okay, this was about 40kms stretch. But we rode at gentle pace. We took off from Bangalore on a couple of bikes. Ride blissfully enjoying the winds which gave the indication of the on setting winter. It was not long before, I spotted the “HOTEL VISION” now turned into some dhaba of sorts, the first hotel we had tea about 6years back on our first ride to Maddur. Yes, we were starting afresh all over again! About 30-40mins latter we ended up at the Lokaruchi to spot quite some vehicles.
TIME: 09:15
LOKARUCHI:
Well the breakfast is a buffet, priced at Rs110/- But trust me the varieties offered and the taste of food makes it worth every rupee.(you should trust the statement even more if a guy like me says it:P) Any way we found a nice table a little towards the outdoors, with all the geese, ducks & rabbits running around we had a wonderful breakfast. Over the coffee/tea I explained the path that I had decided for the club. It would be go-go-go. But with everybody in jobs and 25-30 (being the most squeezing part of life) we knew challenges would prevail. But nonetheless the decision was to go ahead, and I asked what others thought about it. (no point in going ahead if others weren’t okay) With others giving a “AYE” it was done and dusted. Time to head back home and start hard.
TIME:10:30
RIDE BACK:
It was a smooth ride back home. 40kms of non-stop riding. But yes, atleast the path was clear, that mattered the most. We reached back Bangalore in about 45mins. Having bid farewell to others, sat down with some sheets in my hand. November, the beast shall be set free! – The reckless November begins!!! \m/
